The Sport School is an athlete development program based on the best research from around the world. It changes as new research comes forward. Through this program the students will learn about three main movement streams consisting of strength training, gymnastics and track. This curriculum is laid out to provide key skills within each of the three movement streams that athletes must look to develop over the course of their participation in the Sport School. Students will be able to relate and transfer these skills to their individual sport performance. Students will learn from a variety of experiences, hands-on practice, various types of media and literature, as well as direct and indirect instruction by the teacher, coaches, trainers and other athletes. The Sport School will integrate Planning 10, PE 10, 11 and 12 as well as Sports Performance, and Human Performance.
